A little about me

I’ve lived in Minnesota now for a year.  I uplifted my entire life in New Orleans after finishing my PhD at Tulane University to begin a research position here in Minneapolis studying sustainable plastics.  My work focuses on designing new materials to help mitigate the climate and pollution crisis.  My career interests lie somewhere between scientific research, science advocacy, and public policy. I learned so much during my time in New Orleans, a city that will always be very special to me. It was a place that taught me to eat, drink, and breathe for your community!  I hope to take some of those lessons I’ve learned into this next chapter of my life.  Meanwhile, I’m working on adapting to a new lifestyle that is more conscientious of economic and environmental sustainability, humane living practices, and social justice advocacy.

All opinions are my own.
